Setting up your Email in Outlook Express.

From the desktop open Outlook Express, or go to "Start", "All Programs", and "Outlook Express" with the blue double arrow. In Outlook Express, click on "Tools", slide down to "Accounts" and click on it, to select this option.

In the Internet Account box, select the "Mail " tab at the top. On the right, click "Add", slide over to "Mail", click to select.

Follow the wizard, using the email account information provided to you. When finished, open the Internet Account box again.

Select the pop3.cloudburst9.net account and click on "Properties", at the right, to check your settings.

On the "Servers" tab, check to see that the Incoming mail and Outgoing mail lines are typed correctly. The Account name is the email name you selected. The password is provided by Cloudburst9. You may check "Remember password" so you do not have to type the password each time you retrieve your mail.

Click on the "Connection" tab, at the top. Check "Always connect to this account using:". Then, click at the right to bring down a dropdown box, slide down to "Local Area Network" Click "Apply" and "OK" at the bottom.

In the Internet Account box, add a second account, in the same way at this time. Select the default account (the account you would like to show first when using Outlook Express) Click on "Set as Default". When you have discontinued your Dialup connection, click on it, to select it. Then click on "Remove" at the right.

If you previously had a Dialup Connection, you will also have to go the the Control Panel, Network & Internet Options (XP only, has this extra step), Internet Options. Select the Connections tab at the top center and select, "Never dial a connection".
